Chardonnay

Visual : This wine is light gold in color that is not fined or filtered. Beautiful legs that hint at a moderately high alcohol in this wine

Nose : The nose starts out with faint hints of oak and dust on a background of apple pie and subtle herbs

Taste : This wine is dry and the flavors begin mid-palate with lemon grass, tart McIntosh apple and a hint of melon rind before a finish of soft butterscotch

Pinto Grigio ‘Ramato’

Visual : This copper colored ‘Ramato’ wine is done in the classic Italian style. Rich, yet a brightness shining through the fact that it is un-fined and unfiltered. Nice legs on the glass that would not be expected in a traditional Pinot Grigio

Nose : Soft notes of oak and dandelion start on the nose with a hint of dust and orange zest behind it all

Taste : The taste is tart white peach with a drop of honey, mandarin orange zest and ginger root. There are subtle back notes of herbal tea and minerals

Sangiovese

Visual : The color is a rich dark garnet and is clear and bright. The legs develop slow and hint at a rich level of alcohol

Nose : The nose offers fragrances of baked red fruits, tart cherry and roses with a hint of cinnamon and clove on a background of Italian spices and leather

Taste : This wine is an excellent balance of tart cherries, strawberries and red plums. It is medium bodied with a remarkably smooth finish of oak tannins, dust and a wisp of tobacco

Pinot Grigio

Visual : This wine is a rich straw color moderately clear, off bright and not fined or filtered

Nose : This nose offers of combination of petrol and wet oak, that is more typical of Riesling, backed up by notes of ripe apricot and hints of under-ripe white peach

Taste : The taste is clean, dry and moderately tart with a juicy finish that makes the mouth water. It offers a nice mouthfeel that brings flavors that are smooth but subtle with hints of lemon rind and under-ripe white peach and apricot. These stone fruits are a pleasant surprise for a wine grown in a warmer climate like Utah
